How it works

Three steps

Wallet send, then mobile money payout in the recipient's country. No exchange account required.

  1. 1

    First

    Connect your wallet

Use WalletConnect, MetaMask, Trust Wallet, or Coinbase Wallet. You send from that wallet. We never ask for a seed phrase.

  2. 2

    Next

    Send the quoted stablecoin

Enter the recipient's mobile money number and country. Check the rate and fee, then send the exact USDT or USDC amount shown.

  3. 3

    Finally

    Recipient gets local currency

We pay out to their mobile money wallet. Watch the payment until it completes or fails.

Features

What you get

A quoted payout, a wallet send, and local currency on the recipient's mobile money account.

Your wallet

Connect the wallet you already use. USDT or USDC leaves it only when you confirm the send.

Transparent fees

See the exchange rate, service fee, and net payout before you confirm. No hidden spreads.

Status on every payment

Follow the deposit, then the mobile money payout, until it completes or fails.

Receipts

Open a payment later and download a receipt for your records.

Treasury settlement

Incoming USDT and USDC are matched on their own treasuries. Access is limited and payouts are logged.

African corridors

Pay out to mobile money in supported countries. Live networks and currencies are listed when you pay, on web and in the app.

Who it's for

For people who earn in USDT or USDC

Pay someone on mobile money in a supported African country. They do not need a crypto wallet.

Freelancers

Get paid in USDT or USDC and spend locally on rent, data, and daily costs.

Remote workers

Turn a stablecoin salary into the currency you actually use for bills and family.

Family support

Send to a relative's mobile money number. They receive local currency, not a crypto app.

Visitors

Keep USDT or USDC for the trip and pay people on the networks they already use.

Traders

Move USDT or USDC off an exchange into spendable mobile money without a local bank account.

No local bank

If the recipient has a mobile money wallet, you can pay them in their country when that corridor is open.

Trust and security

How we settle

You send USDT or USDC from your wallet. We match that token on treasury and pay out on mobile money. Access is limited. Payouts are logged.

Encrypted storage

Sensitive fields are encrypted in transit and at rest.

Limited admin access

Ops tools are behind a signed admin session, not public.

Audit log

Admin actions and payout state changes are recorded.

Review queue

Mismatched deposits go to manual review. They are not paid silently.

FAQ

Questions

Short answers about sending USDT or USDC and paying out on mobile money.

USDT and USDC. Both are live on Base Sepolia. Polygon Amoy currently takes USDC (USDT there is not wired yet). You send from your own wallet. Other coins and chains are not available yet.

Neither. You keep USDT or USDC in your wallet until you pay. When you confirm, that amount goes to the NikoPay treasury for that token and we pay out local currency on mobile money. We do not hold a balance for you between payments.

Supported countries and mobile money providers are listed when you pay, on web and in the app. You pick the country, then the network (for example MTN or Airtel). Corridors follow what the rail has open.

After the USDT or USDC deposit confirms on-chain, most payouts complete in minutes. If a network is delayed, the transfer can sit in a queue. The payment page shows the current status.

A service fee is taken from the quoted amount. The rate, fee, and net payout are shown before you send. What you confirm is what we settle, not a client-supplied price.

It is sent to the NikoPay treasury for that chain. We do not ask for your seed phrase. Only send the exact amount shown. Rounding can delay matching.

Yes, if that corridor is open. Choose the recipient's country and mobile money network, then send. New corridors appear when the rail enables them.

Yes. The iOS and Android app is rolling out. You can pay in the browser today. Both use the same flow: send USDT or USDC, recipient gets local currency on mobile money.

Updates

Get notes by email

Payments are available on the web. The mobile app is rolling out. Leave an email for corridor notes and when store listings open.
